On the night of 09.08.2024, acting on a tip – off, ASI Pankaj Goswami along with ASI Kalikinkar Mondal and forces of Malda Town GRPS detained one Md. Rajjak (22) S/o- Md. Nasim of Aama Bavri Talab, PO- Andar Kot, PS+Dist- Ajmer, Rajasthan along with a bag containing 33 Android mobile phones of various companies without any valid documents. On interrogation, he stated that he had befriended one person of Kaliachak under Malda District and had come to Kaliachak where he bought these stolen mobiles and was returning back to his native place to dispose them off.  Accordingly, all the thirty three mobile phones were seized and the accused person arrested.
